About the project
Allaway is the parent company in the event and retreats industry that brings hospitality to the next level. As part of the team I was responsible for the landing page and the multi page website design, from structure, user experience, and wireframing to concepts and high fidelity design.
the goal
The goal was to create a temporary landing page that would act as a placeholder for the home page of the multipage website. So it still needed to answer key questions and make the user inspire and inquire with Allaway while the full website was in the building process.
meet a new brand
Allaway believes that events should be all about building community in creative ways. The brand was build to be as elevated, seamless and enjoyable as their end-to-end planning and hosting process. It’s an experience that goes well beyond just a getaway—it’s Allaway.
The Allaway logo is designed as a window into nature and represents the growth of community via the unique experiences they create. The brand’s shape language is based on the five natural elements, extending the window concept throughout the brand system. I had a ton of fun implementing a new visual identity through out the website, using it as part of the icons and section shapes.

Structure and Wireframes
We started of with the landing page wireframes. The main objectives were inspire and inquire. To accomplish that we need to have sections that would answer following questions from te user: What is the company all about? What does the venues look like? Will I have a good time? Does the company offers what I need? Are they better than others? Does other people worked with them? Am I comfortable to engage in the further communication? Based on that we wireframed landing page with sections that inspire, create credibility and trust, and create clarity.
design Concepts
We were exploring multiple design concepts. One of the concepts was image focused. Paired with shapes on the background as well as images within the shape. Another concept utilizes use of tabs as a section specific navigation element. It is the hybrid option that combines use of imagery and iconography.

Final landing page design
Client loved both concepts and wanted to combine and simplify. We created stunning front door moment that creates a dynamic and engaging experience. Based on the landing page I designed the rest of the pages. See the final result below.
